World Cleanup Day with Babtec and Quality and Life
Almost 160 kg of waste were collected and properly disposed of by our Babtec team members as part of World Cleanup Day. Both campaigns were organized by the association “Quality and Life,” an initiative of Babtec employees.
A total of 44 helpers, big and small, pitched in at our locations in Wuppertal and Villingen-Schwenningen – one of them even on four paws. Together, the participants were able to make a small but important contribution to the environment. The trash bags they brought with them were filled not only with everyday waste, but also with bizarre (and at the same time frightening) finds such as car tires, mysterious masks and a children's balance bike.
Quality and Life was launched in 2011 as a voluntary initiative by Babtec employees. The association is committed to education, the environment, culture and social interaction – further activities are already in the planning stage.
