What began in 2011 as a volunteer initiative by Babtec employees has grown into an organization committed to a wide range of causes. With passion, fresh ideas, and strong partners, we work to create a better future – in our region and beyond. For us, quality means more than making an impact in our daily work. It also means making a difference beyond the workplace.
Making a Difference Through Commitment
Since 2011, we have been supporting the common good through a wide range of projects. By 2024, we had supported more than 130 social organizations and helped children discover the joy of learning through our “Learning Fun Packages.” Playful learning activities and technological expertise helped introduce children to digital topics at an early age.
Since 2025, we have been taking our commitment a step further: moving beyond a single focus to a broader range of activities that allow us to make a difference in various areas. This creates opportunities for new ideas, projects, and partnerships.
Our Four Key Focus Areas:

- Culture & Science: Promoting diversity, encouraging exchange, and exploring new perspectives.
- Education: Sharing knowledge, inspiring curiosity, and creating new opportunities for people.

World Clean Up Day 2026
This year, we once again rolled up our sleeves for World Cleanup Day! Together with Babtec employees, their families, and friends, we collected litter in Wuppertal and made a valuable contribution to protecting our environment. Every small action helps make a difference.
A Day for Our Bees 2026
At our Bee Awareness Day in Wuppertal and Villingen-Schwenningen, visitors of all ages discovered the fascinating world of bees. Through exciting insights, creative hands-on activities, and plenty of fun, we raised awareness of the important role these little heroes of nature play.
Road to Schwebebahnlauf 2026
With our running group, we combined physical activity, team spirit, and environmental protection. Together, we trained for the Schwebebahnlauf running event and earned “Quality Points” with every participation to support planting new trees in our region.

Germany Scholarship
Through the Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship), we support dedicated and talented students throughout their academic journey. By providing financial assistance, we give them more freedom to focus on their studies while encouraging fresh ideas and new perspectives. Together, we invest in the skilled professionals of tomorrow and a forward-looking society.
GreenLion Racing
Driven by a passion for technology and teamwork, the GreenLion Racing Team at the University of Wuppertal develops its own race cars for the international Formula Student competition. Innovation, collaboration, and quality assurance play a key role in this process. As a sponsor, we support the student team in achieving its goals.
Wuppervital e. V.
Under the motto “Wupp dich vit!”, Wuppervital e. V. brings people in Wuppertal together through physical activity. From walking and running to gymnastics, the organization offers a wide range of activities for all ages, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. As a sponsor from the very beginning, we have been supporting the initiative since 2016.
